While we know you would like your kitten with you quickly, we have to comply with your destinations regulations which are in place for the safety of your kitten.

How Our Kitten Transport Services Work:
- Airport Selection*: Together, we’ll find and choose the closest airport that implements a PetSafe program. A PetSafe program ensures qualified individuals and practices for a successful pet delivery service. Currently the only airlines shipping live animals through cargo is American Airlines.
- Coordination: Communication is key in any relationship – especially the one between your kitten’s breeder and you. We work with you and the breeder to coordinate schedules, and we’ll send you an itinerary.
- Kitten Pickup: Next, we’ll send a team member to pick up your kitten from the breeder and transport them to the airport. This is our favorite part of our kitten transport service because we get to spend precious time petting your kitten during the entire ride to the airport!
- Accommodations: Once on board and snuggled in, your kitten will travel in comfort in a new airline-approved kennel with a soft bed, food, and water.
- Communication: We will be in touch throughout the day with your kitten’s flight schedule until they arrive safely in your arms. At the end of your pet delivery services with Kitty Kraze, we would appreciate you leaving us a review to let us know how you enjoyed the experience.
- Summer Months: American Airlines has limited aircrafts that can accommodate live animals. Less flights equals less options. It is also very hard shipping if you live in a warm climate. Temperatures need to be under 85 degrees upon arrival in order for your pet to be safely shipped. We will work with you in trying to find the best day & time to be able to ship your kitten but please be patient as mother nature is out of our control.
When will my kitten be sent to me?
This is dependent on your location as different countries have different minimum age requirements for kittens to be be imported. However we never deliver earlier than 10 weeks of age for the health and happiness of the kitten. The age of entry depends on the minimum vaccination requirements, especially for Rabies which cannot be given until 12 weeks of age. Most countries require a months wait after the Rabies vaccination so 4 months of age is the earliest import allowance. There are a small number of countries where we can deliver at 10 weeks, such as the U.S.A, and some where it is 10 months, such as Australia. Is an import permit required for my kitten?
Most countries do not require an import permit. Countries that do, include, but are not limited to the UAE, Australia, Bahrain, Kuwait, China, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar. Import permits are required firstly to make sure the breed of kitten is allowed, and secondly to ensure the kitten has all the documents needed. We will provide you with all necessary information and documents to make it easy for you. We also offer assistance in most of these countries through our local partners.
Will my kitten have to be quarantined?
Most countries do not require you to quarantine. Those that do are mainly in Asia and include – China, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. These quarantines are mainly to make sure the kittens are disease free. Fortunately with our knowledge of minimum age regulations for every country, quarantines can be avoided in most cases, by having the kitten happily with their breeder here until they are allowed to be imported.
How much will it cost to ship my kitten?
The cost of shipping depends on various factors, but the two most significant ones are: the size of the crate which your kitten travels in, and the airline company. Size of course depends on your kitten’s age and the breed. For a small breed the age is less of a factor, but for a bigger breed the older the kitten as it grows, the greater the cost. Airlines prices vary by large amounts. Much like the cost of your flight tickets would depend on the choice of airline; the most expensive can be twice as much as the cheapest. As a default we will always offer the most economical option that we consider safe to ship with. You have the option to upgrade to any airline of your choice
Do you have partners in my country to assist with the import?
For countries with more complex regulations we have local agents to help you even more with the process. These countries include Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Jordan and Australia. These local partners will help you to complete the entire import procedure and will in most cases deliver your kitten to your home or let you go to their location (office, store, clinic) to pick up the kitten. If a local partner is available in your country, we strongly advice to use our selected partner. We choose the partner with the best and most convenient system for you.
Can you deliver my kitten by road?
We can offer deliver by road within the EU and within a 1000km radius of Budapest. We will accept such requests if it offers a better, faster and more economical choice than the airlines.
